ITALY AND TURKEY.
PROPOSALS FOR PEACE. REGARDED FAVOURABLY. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United L'ress Association.) (Received 8.55 a.m.) London, September 13. The Tiinos' Constantinople correspondent says that the Turkish delegates have made proposals for peace, which have a chance of being regarded favourably by Italy. The Italians refused to accept the coastline, leaving the hinterland and one port of exit in the hands of the Turks. The Turkish delegates then proposed that Tripoli and Cyrenaiea should remain under the Suzerainty of
the Sultan, whom Sheiker Senussi re presents, Italy having military aiu civil administration at Belgrade. Basic; has formed a Cabinet of old Radicals.
