VILLAGES AND VESSELS

WRECKED. (Received 12.45 p.rn.) Ottawa, September 10. News from St. John’s, Newfoundland, states that a fierce hurricane is raging along the coast at Labrador. Many fishing vessels are missing, and many villages have been storm swept. Four of the crew were drowned when a schooner was driven on the rocks at* Cut Throat.
