The prize of a ease of Frimley jam, presented by the Frimley Company, Hawke's Bay, for the first local rider to finish in the Round-the-Mountain race, lias been divided between A. Codd (Rahotu) and R. S. Renner (New Plymouth), who finished sixth and seventh respectively. The division ha ■• been made, as the committee was not sure whether the word 'local" was to be translated as purely local, or as provincial.
