IMPORTING FISH.

. ACTIVITY AT DUNEDIN. (Pt.r Press Association.) Dunedin ,M*y 27. The Portohello marine fish 'hatchery board has decided to ask Mr. Anderson, the curator, to proceed to England to bring out a shipment of herring ova. Mr. Anderson will visit a number of hatcheries in Great Britain, and also proceed to Norway. Heligoland, and any establishments on the Dutch, Belgian, and North French coasts. It is expected that the ova will come out in one of the large emigrant ships to Sydney, and will then be brought to Port Chalmers. A large stock of lobsters and crabs will also be brought out, and Mr. Anderson will attempt to introduce such fish as turbot, haddock, and cod.
