INTERESTING EVIDENCE

Dun/sdin, May 21/. The circumstances surrounding the death of James W. Cummin", who died on* Saturday, and whose funeral had to hfc postponed yesterday, were the subject of an enquiry by Mr. Graham (Coroner) this afternoon. Dr. Roberts and Dr. W. Marshall MacDonald gave evidence that death was due to a tumour on the brain. * Dr, De Latour the opinion that death was due to hemorrhage of the brain, hut he contended that this was due to disintigration of blood caused by sewer gas poison, and that death was not due to the existence of a tumour. The i Coroner returned a verdict that death was due to hemorrhage tof u the the brain caused by a tumour, and that sewer gas was not the cause of death.
