Dunedin, May 20
Alexander Marehall, manager of Stcwarf Dawson’s CliristfliurcJi business, was arrested at Creen Island on Saturday on a charge of the theft of CIQO from liis firm. He appeared at the Police Court tin's morning and was remanded to Christchurch. Bail was forthcoming.

Judge Sim granted decrees in the divorce cases Clara Aim Inglis v. Hugh Roger Inglis, Alargaret Annie McKinstry v. Andrew McKinstry, Ada Agnes Wakefield v. Herbert Wakefield —all desertion.
