BOY SCOUTS.

A Scout meeting was held in the Parish Hall on Wednesday evening, when some very good work was done. After commencing with a number of physical exercises suited to the cold night, the Scouts practised falling-in quickly with different patrol leaders and corporals, as it was recognised that in the past there has often been a great deal of delay in forming up. and that a weak point like this should be attended to before going to 'Wellington. After tliis a general idea of a rally was given, and the movement was practised. The boys were also notified that in future no. Scout will be admitted to the Scout meetings unless he is wearing uniform. On Saturday, weather permitting, tests will ho given in the subjects required for the cook’s badge, and candidates will assemble in the Vicarage paddocks at 1.30.
