RETAILERS’ PROFITS.
STRONG NEW SOUTH WALES INDICTMENT. G OVERNMENT RESEARCHES. (Received 8, 9.15 a.m.) Sydney, May 8. Mr Griffith, comparing the Government contractors’ tenders for.articles of daily diet in January 1909 and 1912 shows a material decrease in prices. Ho is, convinced the immense increase asked from the public are simply excessive profits of retailers.
