SIR GILBERT PARKER'S VIEWS ON ABSORPTION. TAPT CONDEMNED. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) London, May 5. Sir Gilbert Parked*, interviewed, said that since the Blaine Treaty, Americans had greatly desired a commercial treaty leading to the political annexation of Canada. It was painful to have all the Presidential candidates supporting absorption. President Taft's letter was a blot on the high traditions of American foreign policy.
