INDUSTRIAL UNREST.
A NOVEL LAW POINT. (Received 26, 10.25 a.m.) Sydney, April 26. The High Court has reversed the decision of the Full Court in the case of a Lithgow miner fined for absenting himself from work. The Full Court bad upheld an appeal against the Police Court decision convicting. The question involved was whether the dismissal of a union delegate for absenting himself without permission, to attend a meeting, constituted a reasonable cause for breaking the contract.
