The body of ,a Christchurch builder who has been missing for a week was found this morning near Amhorley, in a water hole, about three-quarters of a mile away from the ,whare ijvhere he was living while superintending a job,, and where bo was last scon. The body was found floating on the surraco of the water. Ashburton, April 21. Later accounts show that the Mt. Somers train accident was caused through the breaking of an axle on one of the trucks while the train was running at ordinary speed. This caused the truck to “spread,” and threw the. nine following wagons off the rails, and tore up the lino for iIOO yards. The engine driver noticed the trouble and immediately applied the brake and stopped the train, the engine and carriages remaining on the lino.
