C’u pt ain Lumpen and two of his Sergeant-Alajors leftHby the mail train this morning for Hawera, to supervise arrangements for the camp. It is expected that there will be some six hundred men under canvas, including 90 men of H. Company, Stratford. The train carrying the New Plymouth, Waitara, and other men from up north will arrive in Stratford at about 3.30 on Wednesday afternoon next. The men from the east will arrive a few minutes sooner, Cokmr-Sergenat Rahone, of H. Company, Stratford, being in charge of this troop.
