CROQUET.

On Friday last a “B” team of croquet players from the local green journeyed to Inglewood for the purpose of playing the Inglewood “B” team. The following are the scores (Stratford players being mentioned first in each case): — Doubles.—Alias King and Airs. Black 13 v. Airs. O’Carroll and Airs. Winfield, 12; Airs. Reira and Miss Reira 23 v. Miss Johnstone and Mrs. Or bell 9. Singles.—Miss King ’23 v. Airs. O’Oarroll 15; Airs. Black 18 v. Mrs. Winfield 23. Totals: Stratford 87, Inglewood 64, giving Stratford a win of 23 hoops.
