SALE OF FURNITURE .

Mr. John Leydon, the well-known and old-established Stratford general furnisher, succeeded in purchasing from the Public Trustee, on very favourable terms, the late Mr. H. S. Priestley’s large and varied stock of general house furniture and furnishings. A large staff of workmen has been engaged in finishing uncompleted cabinet work, and arranging the other goods, for a great sale which Mr. Leydon informs us he intends to be a record event for Stratford, and that people will positively save money by visiting this sale. Freight will also be paid on all orders for £lO worth of goods or upwards to any station between New Plymouth and Wanganui. Special reference to the sale will be found on page ,3 of issue. Saturday next the sale will commence af the premises lately occupied by Mr. Priestley, in Regan Street. x
