IN THE COURTS.
(Per Press Association "i Blenheim, March IG. -At the Supreme Court, James Richardson Briencr, on a charge of receiving goods stolen from Closton’? hand, pleaded guilty. Mr. Justice Chapman decided to release accused on two years’ probation, conditional!' on good behaviour and a promise to abstain from all intoxicants and pay Gl2 towards costs of the prosecution. Crank Campbell, on a similar charge, was found not guilty.
