IN THE COURTS.
(Per Press Association;) Napier, March 6. At the Supreme Court to-day, J)av'id Ellis, who was charged with defrauding’ Messrs Patterson and Mossman by selling certain articles covered by a bill of sale, was acquitted. Neil Campbell, charged with assaulting a Maori and causing actual bodily harm, was found guilty of common assault and was remanded till Friday jfor a report.
