FORTY-TWO IN FOUR DAYS IN ST. PETERSBURG. AVERAGE, AGE VERY YOUNG. (Received 26, 10.5 a.m.) St. Petersburg, 1 ; February 25 There have been fort/-twosuicides iij four days,-the majority being by prison. A number of suicides- occurred in tho street’s. The average!ugo of the suicides was under 21. . Tjho League of Life and other apti-suicide societies have been fruitlessly attempting to stay the epidemic.
