OPERATIONS TO BE STARTED

New Plymouth, January 27. Active steps are to he taken at once in connection with the ironsand industry here. A syndicate holding a lease from the Harbour Board intend placing plant and material on the ground immediately in terms of the lease under which the syndicate forfeits £2OOO unless improvemetns to that value are effected by March 31st.
