AMUSEMENTS.
'HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. Despite the fact that “Hamlet” was being played at Eltham, there was a very fair house at Bernard’s Pictures last evening, when Rufus Dawes, the much-persecuted; ! Was again shown in conjunction with a big bill of really rood pictures. To-night the drama “Rufus Dawes” will be screened for the last time, md a change of pictures will be given in the first .part of programme. To-morrow evening the usual change of programme will take place, ind a very fine selection of “kine” ut will .appear. The dramas are of a very high order, two of them being Western American life, and are really exciting photo plays. The comic pictures, according to the Wellington press, are the funniest that have, appeared. In fact, the whole of 1 the pictures form a programme worthy of note. :
“The Colleen Bawn,” a great Irish 3tar drama, will make its first appearance at .an early .date, when Dion douoicault’s well-known book will be shown for the first time.
