Stead is suing to recover £llOO advanced to tradesmen on a bill transacted to oblige Princess Wiasomsky. He made her acquaintance through the Dowager Empress of Russia the Hague Conference. The transaction arose through renting a house at Dulwich. Mr Stead already has a judgment for £7OO against the Princess. He held a security in connection with the present advance, but returned it to oblige her.
