NEW SOUTH WALES COMMISSION ON TOUR. (Per Press Association.) Palmerston N., January 14, Tho members of the New South Wales Totalisator Commission arrived hero on Saturday, and were yesterday taken over the Manawatu Racing Club’s course at Awapuni, and also visited the Highden stables and the Cloverlea stables, tiie latter being owned by Mr D. Buick, M.P. Tho commission sits at Palmerston North to-morrow and Tuesday for the purpose of hearing the evidence of several well known racing men on the question of the totalisator.
