UNION LEVIES INCREASED,

The general federation of trade unions has doubled the levies of affiliated unions in order to support the cotton operatives. The accumulated funds ’.mount to £66.830, as compared with ■2162,000 in 1909, the payment of half-a-crown to weavers absorbing £17,500 weekly.
