HJS MAJESTY’S THEATRE,
There was a good house at Berlard’s Pictures last night, when the nauy excellencies of the current programme received an appreciative hearing, “After Fifty Y ears,” tire star trama, being foaowed with breathcss interest. Tfmt fine picture, “Tne L/utent Spark,” which endeavours to prove that patriotism lies beneath the dirt and ra'gs that go to make up a •sundowner,” was greeted with not i little laughter, though at t ines the aidience wore cpiite sympathetic, especially when the hero lay “asleep” beneath the “Stars and Stripes.” On Monday night a special treat is promised, n non a long film showing die Kltham Axemen’s Carnival in its entirety will be screened. Bernard’s ire to he congratulated on their enterprise in securing tins film, which nauy hundreds of Stratford people vuv "in the making, if you were at die Axemen’s Carnival it will ho interesting for you to see yourself on the screen; if you were not, go and see how well-known Stratford people figure out on the canvas. In another column will he found a list of the films to lie shown mi Monlay in conjunction with the Carnival ilcture.
