THE WALLIS ISLAND PRIESTS LIBELLED. ANTI-RELIGIOUS MON O.MANIA. (Received 5, 9.35 a.m.) Sydney, January 5. Father Chevreuil, Procurator of The Marist Mission Overseas, denies Dr. Borchard’s allegations against the priests on Wallis Island. He declares they are a libel on-jiic missions. He asserts that Dr. jiorchard is afflicted with anti-religious monomania. He was going beyond his powers, *"Hch were restricted to external affairs.
