THE CHINESE REVOLT.
IMPERIALISTS LEAVE HANYANG AND GO NORTH. EMPRESS-DOWAGER DISGORGES. Pekin, January 3. Tho Imperialists have evacuated Hanyang and entrained with batteries northwards. Li-Yuan-Hang has given assurance that he will nob occupy the vacated position. Tang-Sha-Oyi has resigned. He is accused of showing an over complaisant attitude, particularly in agreeing that tho Imperialists retire thirty-three miles. The Empress Dowager produced three million taels, sufficient to pay the troops for six weeks, after Yuan-Shih-Kai threatened to resign. Tho Manchu princes have received a minatory communication from fifteen prominent generals, demanding substantial contributions for tho Imperial troops.
