MR. BALFOUR’S SUCCESSOR.
MR. BONAR LAW ELECTED. CAUSES BIG GIFT TO TARIFF REFORM LEAGUE. (Received 14, 10.10 a.m.) London, November 13. Mr. Long proposed, and Mr. Austen Chamberlain seconded, the nomination of Mr. Bonar Law to the leadership of the Opposition, and ho was elected by acclamation. Mr. James Buchanan, distiller, has given the Tariff Reform League £IO,OOO in consequence of Mr. Bonar Law’s election.
