THE COURTS.
(Per Press Association ) New Plymouth, October 5. For obtaining liquor for a prohibited person, a young man was fined £7 by Mr. Crook, S.M., this morning. The case was a bad one, and the maximum fine would have been inflicted had not accused pleaded guilty. Another man was fined 5s and costs on each of two charges of giving unstamped receipts.
