Farm labourers'in possession of not less than , £lO can obtain assisted passages at £8 j in .a six-berth cabin, and £lO and £l2 ih foiir-berth and two-berth cabins rcspbctively. During the year ended Martih 31st,; there wore 10,331 immigrants from the United Kingdom, of whom 2624 were assisted. Of the latter, 831 were domestics. The assisted immigrants possessed capital totalling £37,735. V Organised employers in New Zealand number 4262, but organised workers 57,091, there being 118 unions of employers registered at the end of last year, and 308. unions of workers.
