WELLINGTON BURGLARIES

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, November 2. Burglars in Wellington have entered at least five houses in the past fortnight and at least four other cases are believed to be under police investigation. Mostly the thieves appear to have operated leisurely and had time to ransack drawers, dressing tables and wardrobes. In one house they made a haul of £6OO, but other losses vary from £8 to £35.
