HUGE U.S. FLYING-BOAT

Cargo Transport For Navy

NEW YORK, November 1.

Mi' Glenn Martin has announced that the huge Mars aerial battleship is being converted into a cargo transport for the Navy. It is explained that a score of similar Mars flying-boats would deliver as much cargo from California to Hawaii in two months as a 10,000-ton Liberty ship- , , Mr Martin added that 343 Mars planes would carry the same cargo as a convoy of 25 ships.
