Scattered Showers
(Special) WELLINGTON, Nov. 2. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Fresh to strong but gradually moderating westerly to south-westerly winds. The weather changeable, with scattered showers; temperatures cold. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was stormy, with a strong south-westerly wind and occasional showers of rain and hail. At 1 o’clock this morning the sky was overcast. The Sun.—Rises at 5.20 a.m.; sets at 7.32 p.m. The Tides.—High water at Bluff, 9.48 a.m. and 10.16 p.m.; Invercargill, 10.29 a.m. and 10.57 p.m.; Riverton, 8.48 a.m. and 9.16 p.m.; Orcli Beach, 8.57 a.m. and 9.25 p.m.
