Mrs W. E. Hunt, Waitoru, is visiting Timaru for the Craighead school sports. Mrs B. Johnston, Auckland, is the guest of Mrs R. A. de Lautour, Harewood Court Flats.
Miss I. Mitchel has returned to Dunedin after a visit to Mrs Mervyn Mitchel, Leet street. Miss Sheila King, Dunedin, has returned after a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs R. King, The Bend, Winton. Miss Evelyn M. Cloughley has been appointed deputy registrar of births, deaths and marriages for the district of Orepuki. Mrs T. M. Watson, Merrivale, who has been spending a few days with Mrs L. J. Thomas, Louisa street, has left for Timaru to attend the Craighead school sports.
