Miss Evelyn M. Cloughley has been appointed deputy registrar of births, deaths and marriages for the district of Orepuki. Mrs T. M. Watson, Merrivale, who has been spending a few days with Mrs L. J. Thomas, Louisa street, has left for Timaru to attend the Craighead school sports.
