PLANE CRASHES INTO SEA
One Occupant Missing
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 29. When a trainer type of aircraft dived into the sea off the east coast of the South Island yesterday afternoon the pilot, Flying Officei- James Finlay Cruickshank, son of Mr J. R. Cruickshank, New Plymouth, received shock and slight abrasions, and the passenger, Sergeant Neil Ernest King, son of Mr F. E. King, Christchurch, was reported missing and believed to be drowned.
