SECOND LIBERTY LOAN
Yesterday 27 applications for second Liberty Loan stocks were received in Southland. The total value of the applications was £4130 and this brought Southland’s contribution to the loan to date to £97,970, from 192 applications. Among the larger contributions received recently was one of £2OOO from Broad, Small, Ltd. At 7.20 this evening Mi’ J. H. Reed, chairman of the Stock and Station Agents’ and Woolbrokers’ Association, will give a talk on the loan from station 4YZ.
