CHRISTIAN ORDER

Sir,—A great many people believe that any new order after the war must be a Christian order—that is, it must be an order of which Christ would approve. But a great many also believe that if the churches do not in some way receive a great awakening, any attempt at a new Christian order must fail. In these days, when people think fcr themselves, they see the incongruity of petty divisions. In a Christian cider the golden rule will be paramount. Until this rule (“Do unto others as you would be done by”) is carried into every phase of life by Christians, they cannot expect to have any power in bringing about a new Christian Order. VIM.
