AID FOR DISABLED SERVICEMEN
Dunedin Man’s Bequests
(P.A.) DUNEDIN, October 27. Under the will of the late Mr Andrew Jack the residue of his estate, which was sworn at £23,000, is to be established as a trust fund and the income is to be paid to the Dunedin branch of the R.S.A. for the benefit and welfare in life of disabled servicemen and Merchant Navy men or their dependents. This residue is estimated at £13,000. In addition the following bequests have been made: Presbyterian Social Service Association for the Ross Home, £500; the same association for general purposes, £200; Institute for the Blind (Auckland), £200; Early Settlers’ Association (Dunedin), £200; Little Sisters of the Poor (Dunedin), £100; Methodist Church (Manakau, Manawatu), £100; Salvation Army (Dunedin), £5OO.
