WRONGLY CALLED UP
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 27. A Gazette notice cancelling the call-ing-up of reservists for service with the New Zealand armed forces was published today. The reason stated for cancellation in five cases is that the reservist is not a member of the class called up and in the sixth that the person concerned is a member of the third Division. The list for the Invercargill area is as follows:— J. J. Dowling, 27 View street, Invercargill. A. C. L. Georgeson, Waiwera South Otago. W. H. Gray, 20 Elgin street, Invercargill. G. W. Robb, 185 Catherine street, Invercargill. P. F. Sexton, Seaward Downs. D. Tavendale, 86 Wilton street, Invercargill.
