SOLDIERS HONOURED
WINTON —A social in honour of SergeantPilot J. Fortune and a welcome home to Corporal A. Shand was held at Winton. The Mayor (Mr N. Metzger) spoke on behalf of the residents and made a presentation to Sergeant-Pilot Fortune. Also on the platform was Leading Aircraftman Arthur Knight, of Forest Hill, who received a presentation from the residents of his district from Mr A. Dykes.
