CHANGES IN EXPRESS SERVICES
Earlier Departure
The Railways Department announces that the following alterations in express services to and from Invercargill and between Dunedin and Christchurch will operate from Monday:— The usual 7 a.m. express from Invercargill to Christchurch will leave Invercargill at 6.15 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The 8.35 a.m. Christchurch-Invercargill express will continue to run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The 9.45 p.m. DunedinChristchurch express will run on Wednesdays and Fridays, and the 11.2 p.m. Christchurch-Dunedin express will leave on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. These trains will form a connection with the Invercargill-Dunedin train due to leave Invercargill at 1.25 p.m. and the Dunedin-Invercargill train due at Invercargill at 1.10 p.m. The 6.30 p.m. Invercargill-Christchurch train on Sundays will run as usual, as will the 5.30 p.m. Dunedin-Invercargill Sunday train.
