DIVIDENDS DECLARED

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 22. The Stock Exchange Association has been advised by cable that the directors of Australian Consolidated Industries have decided to declare the following dividends: (a) 4',4 per cent, on preference shares for the half-year ended September 30; (b) an interim dividend of 3'/a per cent, on fullypaid ordinary shares. The directors of Kanleri Gold Dredging Limited have declared an eighth dividend of 1/- a share on ordinary and deferred shares. The D.1.C., Ltd., has declared the following dividends: Preference shares, 5 per cent, per annum for the half-year ended August 20; ordinary shares, 7 per cent, for the year ended August 20. CLEARING SALE AT LONGBUSH Dairy cows sold well at a successful clearing sale conducted by the National Mortgage and Agency Co. Ltd., at Longbush on Wednesday on behalf of Mr A. Sellars. There was a large attendance of farmers. The principal sales were: Cattle.—Twenty-nine dairy cows £5 to £l5, heifers £5/10/-, £9; 4 calves at 15/-; bull £4.
