W.A.A.F. REGULATIONS

(P.A.) WELLINGTON, October 22. Regulations similar to those gazetted last week constituting the W.A.A.C. as part of the Army were issued tonight affecting the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force. They actually constitute the W.A.A.F. and declare it to be part of the R.N.Z.A.F. The new regulations, which are entitled the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force Emergency Regulations 1942, make the necessary provision for such part of Air Force law as is deemed appropriate to apply to the women’s organization. There is also a proviso for granting commissions in the W.A.A.F.
