TRAMWAY RETURNS.— During September 265,501 passengers were carried on the Invercargill tramways compared with 230,188 during September 1941, an increase of 35.313. The revenue for the month was £2116 compared with £1836 in September 1941 and £1689 in September 1940. For the six months ended September 30 the revenue was £12.739, compared with £10,975 for the corresponding period of 1941 and £10,939 for the corresponding period of 1940.
