ABERDEEN ANGUS SHOW AND SALE Outstanding prices were paid at the annual show and sale of Aberdeen Angus cattle at Dannevirke last week. The record price of 850 guineas was secured by Mr Donald Grant, of Mangatoro, for a yearling bull which was placed second in his ciass. It was bought by the East Coast Commissioner for the Government. Mr Grant won the principal awards in the show and won outright the Wright, Stephenson challenge cup for the best group of three bulls. Twenty breeders offered stock at the sale and the total realizations were more than 10,000 guineas.
