Answer to Correspondent
R.R.T.—The name of the Royal Family before it was changed to Windsor was Guelph. Queen Victoria’s surname was Guelph and that of the Prince Consort was Wettin. Queen Victoria was the sovereign and the children of the marriage were deemed to be members of her family, the Royal Family of Great Britain.
