Fine With Frosts (Special) WELLINGTON, October 13. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate southerly to easterly winds predominating. The weather fair to fine apart from a few isolated showers on the east coast; temperatures cold with some sharp frosts. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was cool and overcast with a light south-westerly wind. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was m ild, calm and overcast. The barometer reading was 30.55 in (rising). THE TIDES— High water, Invercargill, 539 a.m., 6.05 p.m.; Bluff, 4.58 a.m., 5.24 pm.; Riverton, 3.58 a.m., 4.24 p.m.; Oreti Beach, 4.07 a.m., 4.33 p.m. ! THE SUN—Rises, 5.55 a.m.; sets, 7.13 p.m.
