NATIONAL SAVINGS— The following towns in Southland reached their National Savings quotas last week: —lnvercargill. Balfour, Bluff, Gore, Lumsden, Mataura, Riverton. Thornbury. Waikaka, Winton and Wyndham. The total amount received was £4224, compared with a district quota of £3893. Up to yesterday more than £5OO had been received In Invercargill towards the city’s weekly quota of £2043.
