Cloudy with Mist (Special) WELLINGTON, October 11. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate southerly to easterly winds predominating. Weather cloudy with occasional scattered mist or drizzle. Temperatures cool to moderate. The weather in Invercargill on Saturday was overcast with light rain. On Sunday rain fell during the morning but the weather in the afternoon was cool but heavily overcast. At 1 o'clock this morning tho weather was cold with a strong westerly wind. A heavily overcast sky suggested the possibility of further rain. The barometer reading was 30.12 in (rising). THE TIDES.— High, water, Invercargill. 4.02 a.m., 4.25 p.m.; Bluff, 3.21 a.m., 3.44 p.m.; Riverton, 2.21 a.m., 2.44 p.m.; Oreti Beach, 2.30 a.m., 2.53 p.m. THE SUN.— Rises 5.29 a.m.; sets 8.11 p.m.
