DEATH FROM INJURIES

The death occurred yesterday of Mr Frederick Pope, a single man, who has been employed in the office of the Singer Taxis. Mr Pope was found unconscious at the corner of Tyne and Conon streets on Wednesday night and taken to the Southland Hospital. It is stated that he was knocked over in a collision with a youth riding a bicycle. He never fully regained consciousness. His parents live in Eye street.
