Fair and Mild (Special) WELLINGTON, October 9. Following is the special weather forecast for Southland, issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Moderate northerly winds prevailing and freshening slowly. The weather fair and mild apart from morning mists in the east. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was beautifully fine and sunny. At 1 o’clock this morning the weather was mild, calm and clear. The barometer reading was 30.10 in. (falling).
