RUGBY PARK CROQUET CLUB
The Rugby Park Croquet Club was declared open by the Mayoress (Mrs A. Waehner) in the unavoidable absence of the Mayor. There was a good attendance of members and visitors from other greens. The following were the winners of the various competitions: Mrs Winning (Waihopai), split shot; Mrs Morrison (Waihopal). corner ball; Mrs Ronald (Invercargill), trail; Mrs Strang (Southend), French croquet; Mrs Crowley (Rugby Park), ladder.
